Anise Basil Seeds

The leaves of Anise Basil have a stronger, spicy anise-clove flavor and emit a powerful fragrance. Leaves have a purple flush, and stems are rose-colored. The flowers bloom later than other varieties of Basil, which means there is a longer harvest season and the leaves remain non-bitter longer. When the flowers eventually bloom, they are an excellent nectar source for bees.  Excellent for adding flavor to soups, sauces, fish and meat dishes.
