Black Turtle Bean

Black Turtle Beans are beautiful deep purplish black beans. This compact bush variety is extremely prolific. Black Turtle Beans are meaty and make a great meat replacement. We often use them to make veggie burgers and black refried beans in burritos and tacos. They pair well with cilantro, garlic and onions.  Harvest beans when the pods have yellowed and dried on the vine.
