Loewen Family Heirloom Ground Cherry Seeds

Loewen Family Heirloom Ground Cherry is excellent for salads, salsas, desserts, jams, canning & more. Small yellow fruits have a popping crisp texture and a sweet-tart flavor that we found to be much sweeter and slightly smaller than other varities of ground cherries. This unique variety has been passed down through 4 generations and migrated with the family from Russia in the 1920's. 
The fruits are covered in a papery husk and drop to the ground when ripe.
