Morris Heading Collards produce tender, blue-green waxy leaves on loose heads. Also known as Carolina cabbage collards, this variety works well as a single-cut collard variety. Leaves can also be cropped for continual production throughout the growing season. Morris Heading Collards can grow to 24" to 36" tall so give them a bit of space in the garden.
Morris Heading Collard is heat-tolerant and slow to bolt in the spring and early summer when temperatures warm. It is also very cold tolerant and will grow throughout the winter in most zones. Great for planting in the fall or early spring.
