Scarlet Nantes Carrot Seeds

Scarlet Nantes Carrot is an French favorite from the 1850's. A main season carrot that produces bright red-orange, fine grained, brittle roots with a distinctively sweet flavor. The uniform, tender, cylindrical, half long, 6 inches by 1 1/4 inches roots are nearly coreless and are reddish-orange throughout.

Excellent fresh, for juice, freezing and a high quality canning and storage carrot. Roots color up early so they can be harvested as baby carrots.
