Texas Grano is a short day onion variety that produces a large globe shaped vidalia-type onion that has a nice flavor that is not too pungent. Popular with home gardeners for its sweet and mild flavor. Texas Grano is great for cooking, and eating raw. 
 
Short-day onions are best suited for growing south of the Kansas/Oklahoma line.
