The Mortgage Lifter tomato was developed in the hills of West Virginia in the 1930's. It is a slightly flattened, pinkish-red fruit are meaty, very flavorful with few seeds. 
 
The Mortgage Lifter produces good yields of 1 to 2 pound beefsteak tomatoes that have a sweet rich flavor and turn deep pink when mature.
